Visual Resource Services
Visual Resource Services are available to staff and postgraduate students in the School of Humanities. The aim of this position is to support visual resource use in teaching and research within the School. I can provide help with producing images, using them for teaching and publication, or situating them within documents and theses.

Specific services available include:
- Producing and procuring images for teaching, publication, theses and web use
- Scanning services and support
- Calibration of monitors and scanning equipment
- Technical support for digital image use in teaching: Powerpoint, Learn etc.
- Digital file management, archiving and support
- Image collection management and advice/help with digitising slides and photographs
- Copyright advice
Research Collections
Research collections of particular interest to Art History students and researchers are located on Level 4 of the History building. These include artist files of newspaper clippings and ephemera, as well as architect files, Christchurch street indexes, reference books and a large collection of New Zealand art exhibition catalogs. This material is not yet searchable online, but individuals are welcome to email me and make a time to view these resources.
