Ursula Bethell Residency in Creative Writing 2010
The English Programme is delighted to announce that the Ursula Bethell Residency in Creative Writing in 2010 has been awarded to Tusiata Avia. There were dozens of applications for this position, many of them very strong indeed. But in the end the selection panel was won over by Tusiata's description of the exciting projects she plans to advance over the next year, and by her record of complex, passionate and surprising work in the past. We look forward to Tusiata's presence in the English Programme, the College of Arts and the University from February next year.
