Research

The academic staff of Art History and Theory are all active researchers known nationally and internationally for their work in particular fields, and the programme has an impressive catalogue of published work.
As well as the writing of books and articles, art-historical research generates a range of professional activities including presenting conference papers, curating exhibitions, writing exhibition catalogues, working in commercial art galleries, serving on art-related committees and giving information and opinion to the media.
